Lucian Ercolani, founder of Ercol, perfected the technique of steam-bending wood. The perfect Windsor Bow is formed using this technique.

The Ercol Originals range, designed in the 1950's remains relevant till this day, shows Ercol’s ability to create timeless pieces.

Today, Ercol is UK's biggest manufacturer of solid wood furniture, the pieces are handcrafted in their factory in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.
